Saturday April 27, 2024 The Jack Millikin Centre Presents Flamenco Borealis

November 29th - December 1st 2024 Come and Enjoy a Ness Creek Christmas! ​ Get Tickets! ​ Discover Ness Creek and the Jack Millikin Centre are presenting a weekend of Christmas fun for you and the whole family. ​ Friday evening - enjoy making decorations and crafts indoors during our Friday night social, skiing and sleigh rides outdoors. Saturday - join us for brunch and then enjoy all the winter wonderful activities, select your own Christmas tree, and warm up inside with more crafts and games. Saturday evening - enjoy an amazing Christmas meal, served up by Third and Main, followed by a Christmas program of carols and live dinner theatre produced by The Ness Creek Players. We have heard that Santa also has the event on his schedule! Sunday morning - a delicious brunch from Third and Main and more winter fun. Stretch & Sew workshop

Join Jenny Ambrose in the beautiful boreal forest to learn the art of sewing with stretch fabrics! This retreat offers guided tutorials and plenty of open work time with customized support. You will learn how to prepare your work, choose the best equipment, tools, and practices, and work with elastics and finishing techniques. You can choose to work on clothing items such as tee-shirts, dresses, hoodies, activewear, swimwear, or lingerie. In addition to sewing, there are optional outdoor activities such as a full-moon ski or hike on Friday evening, as well as an afternoon ski or snowshoe on Saturday and Sunday. For those interested, there will also be a yoga flow class on Saturday and Sunday mornings to help ease any tension in your back and shoulders after sewing. Ness Creek offers rental services for skies and snowshoes, so be sure to come prepared with appropriate outdoor clothing. ForestArt Kids Winter Camp

Join us at the Jack Millikin Centre for a 2 day forestART Winter Kids Camp! We have endless projects in store for your young creatives including drawing, painting, mixed media, collage, needle felting, sewing and more! Jessica Deback (Saskatoon) and Jenny Ambrose (Big River) are teaming up to bring you a diverse creative experience! See below for the full itinerary:) forestART Winter Kids Camp is suitable for kids ages 6 and up. The machine sewing component is recommended for ages 8 and up. Please reach out if you have any questions. No experience is necessary. Dates: January 2 + 3, 2025 Time: 9am-3:30pm (afternoon only options are available from 12:30-3:30) Ski rentals are available from Ness Creek (please bring cash).
